New AFI Album

East Bay punk-goth act AFI. broke their website an hour or so ago with a new video, which implies that the band will release a new album in September.
In addition to the video, AFI’s Facebook page received a new photo scheme, which in today’s music climate is equivalent to “hey guys, we’re back! Pay attention!”
AFI’s last album was 2009′s 3-star affair Crash Love, but judging by the general feel of the teaser video above we can’t help but think this new stuff might go back to the band’s old days. Hell, they even call themselves “A Fire Inside” once again, which should send shock waves of excitement among the Gilman St. crowd in the Berkeley punk scene.

Possible Gaskarth and Fuentes Collaboration?

Alex Gaskarth and Vic Fuentes have discussed in a new interview with AltPress about a possibility of live collaboration of All Time Low's "Remembering Sunday".

An excerpt from the interview can be found by clicking read more.

Both bands are currently touring across the country on the Spring Fever tour alongside Mayday Parade and You Me At Six. All dates and ticket information can be found here.

We dug up a fan “petition” with 3,000-plus notes on Tumblr for All Time Low to play “Remembering Sunday” and have Vic do the female vocal parts. Would you consider that?

GASKARTH:
Holy crap! I haven’t even seen that. That’s nuts. Maybe we could add that song in. Yeah, that’s crazy. It’s definitely something we’d consider. There’s a place for it in the set, so it could happen, for sure.

FUENTES: Oh, my God… Yeah, maybe. I think it would be cool to do a little collaborating onstage. Actually, I sing with Mayday Parade already on their Punk Goes Pop cover of “Somebody That I Used To Know,” and I’m all about doing stuff like that. So, you never know. Maybe somewhere during the tour, we’ll work it out
